I have never talked with anyone with TN so I am very happy to have found this sight. I was diagnosed with TN a couple of months ago after several TMJ surgeries…This has been so life changing for me…I have never experienced this sort of pain…I would really like to hear the experiences of others with TN.

I love it here. I’m doing a lot better now thanks to everyone here, I don’t think I would have made it this far without this community. I had so much TN pain but also a lot of pain came from not having anyone around who understood me and the pain I was having. I’m so glad I met you all.

Thanks. I just found this group and already have met the most wonderful people. It is so hard to deal with this pain all the time, but great to at least know people living with this can still somehow stay strong and share experiences.
I am glad I found this site . It is nice to know that I am not the only person with this pain.
I have learned a lot from this site. My Doctor never told my what type of TN I had, but after spending several hours on this site and others, I found out that I have Type I which right now is under control with meds, which I hope continues to work.
Being a moderator is rewarding to me, as I feel I am giving back to others who have the same affliction that I have been forced to live with daily. So far I am doing really good!
I have found the community very helpful. It’s nice to know we are not alone.
